According to Janssen, (1) plan out simple meals in advance to avoid overwhelming requests of different things. I think this is good advice. If you have more than two people visiting, you could get overwhelmed trying to appease all the different tastes. I did plan a meal of spaghetti the second evening, yet I still had to go the store for some supplies which put us eating at around 7pm. Even if you cannot call your guest beforehand and let them know what you will serve, I think adjusting the meal would be a lot easier than trying to accommodate everyone’s taste.
Other tips I discuss:
2. Do Two Activities A Day
3. Have an adults evening out
4. Allow for down time
5. Get Outside
6. You don’t have to do everything with your company
7. If guests are staying in living area, clean each day.
8. Do something out of the ordinary
9. Prepare to be “ON”
10. Have Fun
